As I awaken from my sleep,
I had prayed to God our souls to keep.
He's granted me yet another day,
To do his work if I may.
I care for six puppies,
Not as easy as a tank of guppies.
I fed them breakfast so they can run,
and bark and play and do what's fun.
Then I'm off to my daughters and maybe a yard sale,
Then back home to check our mail.
I'll then mow the lawn
Until I begin to yawn.
Then I have homework to do.
So for now I'll say "tootle loo"

Photo of the day
My Tractor Trailer wreck in '04 in which
I was not wearing a seat belt, if I had
been I most certainly would not have
survived. The semi-tractor made a complete
rollover and the trailer made 3/4 of a full
rollover. I fell asleep at the wheel.
I lived to see "Yet another Day"

Well I've finished mowing the grass,
Finally, it's done at last.
I've finished my Math and all my reading,
Now the movie assignment is what I'm needing.
I've thought of where to start,
But, can I pull it from within my heart.
Can I find the words and feelings I need,
Or will I again fail to succeed.
I almost always fall way short,
I have to try hard not to abort.

I'm off to the restaurant to get us dinner,
So my wife can get ready for work. Then I'll
feed my puppies one last time for the day.
I'll then do some more homework before I go
to bed for the night.
